Please don't judge me.

In the last 24 hours, several incidences have occurred making me question my functionality in society. I am not really embarrassed by any of these but people definitely passed judgement on me so maybe I should be. Well, oopsy daisies.

Incident #1. Yesterday for lunch I got a happy meal. They put it in the Happy Meal box which is too large to fit in my satchel so I carried that bad boy proudly back to my office.  People judge an adult walking down the street with a Happy Meal box.  They judge you hard. But think about it....a happy meal is the perfect amount of food. And sometimes you really just want some nuggs.

Incident #2.  For those of you that know Glover Park, parking can sometimes be sparse. Especially at night. Last night, I arrived home pretty late following my trip to the barn and was fortunate to snag a parking space. Someone pulled up behind me so I hurriedly tried to put my Mini Cooper in the space. Once they passed, I continued my parallel parking rather recklessly, assuming no one was around to see, as it was after 11pm. I will admit that I may have love-tapped the cars infront and behind me once or twice...and I made a few more than necessary maneuvers due to concern that I wasn't close enough to the curb. Finally I felt that I was sufficiently in the space and got out of my car to discover that at least three people were sitting on the porch of a nearby house and had been watching me park the entire time. And they started clapping. Not a clap that is assisting a laugh even....no, it was a blatant "we are making fun of you" applause.

Incident #3. I was standing on the metro this morning when I felt a little breeze on my back.  Upon investigation, I realized that the button on my dress must have come undone during the bus portion of my commute. Now there was no indecent exposure - I was in no way throwing caution to the wind while aboard the metro - but still....it really isn't sending a good message to the public about my ability to dress myself. And reaching around to fix a button at the top and back of your dress is not a stealth maneuver. People noticed.

So my apologies, DC, for embarrassing you.  But in other news, Kiefer is absolutely adorable and I spent a bit of time last night cuddling him and romping about. Another picture below.
