Add some fun to that commute.

One thing I really miss about living in NYC is the craziness that occurs in the subway stations and on subway cars. Performers in the stations (who had legit talent), boom-boxes snuck onto the cars, some dancing if you are lucky, crazy people preaching. The DC metro system is way too uptight. Yet perhaps that will soon change. A group called Mad Sole created a music video of them break-dancing in the metro, recently posted by NBC Washington.  While it is scripted and thus lacks the awesome spontaneity of many NYC performances, it is still entertaining and a step in a more fun direction for DC commuters.
