happy Monday!

Sorry for dropping the ball with posting at the end of last week. My Thursday was a bit busy before taking Friday off to do some riding in Keswick, Virginia. That part of Virginia is so beautiful and fortunately the weather was great, my horses were wonderful (for the most part :) and I got some enjoyable snuggle time in with TR while he was laying down napping.  

Last night, I went with some friends to the Sound Bites event at the 9:30 Club benefiting D.C. Central Kitchen. They opened up the outside for local restaurants to give out free samples (which included 9:30 Club cupcakes) while bands played on stage inside. It was a fun event and we met lots of interesting people.

Some other interesting DC news: There is going to be a Bojangles in Union Station. I've never been to one but I have some friends that went to Duke and Bojangles seemed to be a staple in their college diet. Also, people in AdMo should stop yoinking ferrets.
