Random House is publishing HYPERtheticals: 50 Questions for Insane Conversations, a deck of cards containing Chuck Klosterman hypotheticals. Klosterman describes the product as "just something weird for weird people.” Or perhaps a new type of drinking/bar game.A Scots design student has created these Social Spheres to help block out unwanted noise so that you can enjoy a nice, pleasant conversation while in a noisy bar. These lightweight, goldfishbowl-shaped headpieces come in either a Couple size or for Inidividuals. I really hope these don't cross the pond and get big in the US. It would seriously hinder my bar-room dancing.
