What a weekend.

On Friday I attended the DCWeek Kick-Off Party at Blagden Alley with some friends and had a great time.  We enjoyed good music, break-dancing, pink flamingos and PBRs while hanging out with some really great and interesting people. Saturday morning I headed to the Upperville Colt & Horse Show in Upperville, Virginia to do the lead line class with five year old Isabella. She is absolutely amazing and she makes me smile so much every time I spend time with her. We spent most of the class discussing the snow cone she would be getting once it was over and what flavor she would go with (she chose "pink").  And she was very excited about her rainbow ribbon that she won!

Thankfully I had such a wonderful beginning to my weekend since it did not end on the greatest note.  I suppose I learned an important lesson, though: never play chicken with an EZpass toll gate. Believe me. It causes more damage than you would imagine.
