Giggle.

even hipsters need hugs.

I really love hipsters. I feel like my adoration comes off mockingly but it really is genuine. I truly enjoy them.  I also enjoy the blog Stuff Hipsters Hate. And this video about hugging hipsters. Oh, and this text.

Check out that Zedonk.

This four day old Zedonk (half zebra, half donkey and almost as cool as a Liger) is hanging with its mother at the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve in Georgia. It is quite adorable.

The Doggie Gaga Project

Jesse Freidin is a photographer from the San Francisco area that focuses on photographing man's best friend. She recently created the Doggie Gaga Project. Here are a few of my favorites:

Canoodling for gamers?

Something about this seems off.  It is promoting abstinence but you get points for "particular social skills"? A place to practice where there aren't any social consequences? I don't think this is helping the social skills of teenage gamers. I bet it works out real well for them when they are hanging out with real, live human people and reference their avatar exes and the hijinks they got into.

They also could have used some more appealing people to explain the game in the segment.  Because teenagers love hearing about sex from old/creepy people.

Comic-Con Costume DOs and DONTs.

I fully support any festivals that encourage guests to wear costumes.  I personally enjoy the dude dressed as Jacob Black. There is something extra creepy about that mask.  Suggested don'ts? Don't forget a pee-hole.  And don't dress while drunk.

good morning.

"Three symbols. A world of possibilities."

I have found my next competitive hobby. Rock. Paper. Scissors. In January of 2006, the US Rock Paper Scissors League was started. Thank goodness someone finally established this.

"American players embody the ideals of the sport - aggression, cunning and intensity. Finally, they have the stage to showcase their mad skills. Annual nationwide tournaments will honorably determine the best RPS player in the USA, and bring on a new breed of elite athletes to make all Americans proud and unify our polarized nation."
