blogromping: 1000 awesome things

I recently stumbled upon the blog 1000 Awesome Things. Launched in June of 2008, the blog is updated daily with "Awesome Things" and is a great reminder of those little things that give you that happy, awesome feeling. The Book of Awesome was released in April, 2010 and has quickly become a best seller. Some of my favorite "awesome things":

#522. Dancing when you are home alone.

#528. When your pet notices you're in a bad mood and comes to see you.

#532. When you find out your new place has a really good shower.

Can't be tamed.

Miley Cyrus' music video for her new single "Can't Be Tamed" premiered last night and can be seen below. I was curious to watch the video as it keeps being referred to as "the next step in the evolution of Miley." I don't hate it.  I don't really love it, either. It kept reminding me of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" with a Rihanna twist.

I agree with the cat. I'd rather sleep.

Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute's Gala.

These are some of my favorite outfits worn at the Met Gala. I wish Blake Lively's Marchesa dress was a little bit longer, but I love her so she is forgiven. I love Camilla Belle's classic red dress but I think my favorite look of the evening was Emma Watson's.
